GALAPAGOS CONSERVANCY PHOTO CONTEST 2008

OUR MEMBERS DID IT AGAIN. Our very talented Galapagos Conservancy members managed to top the fantastic quantity and quality of last year's photo contest submissions! We pored over more than 1200 stunning photos from 270 of our very talented members, and painstakingly narrowed down the winners to 15 photos.

The grand prize and cover of the 2008 calendar is awarded to Michael Lambie of Victoria, BC, Canada for his photograph of Waved Albatrosses--he captured a special moment between two albatrosses, enhanced further by the soft light which highlights them. Congratulations, Michael!
