A living laboratory and classroom

The Galapagos Islands represent a living laboratory and classroom for students of all ages, offering opportunities for teaching and learning about a wide range of issues related to evolution, biology, sociology, climate change, economics, politics and sustainable development. We welcome class plans, case studies, handouts, fact sheets, and other materials that will help students learn from and about this remarkable place.

Our friends at BIG GREEN RABBIT , a children’s preschool series that attempts to improve the health and well-being of children and the planet through educational entertainment, developed this wonderfully catchy music video about the charismatic creatures of Galapagos. May it inspire children across the globe to protect, not only Galapagos, but the entire planet. Enjoy the show!

To see the entire BGR episode that features this music video, please check out The Rematch: What are the Galapagos?
